Well done Wigan and how refreshing to see one of the smaller clubs overcome the £Millions of Man City.
Pleased also for Paul Scharner who always performed well while with the Baggies.
Now go and beat the Arsenal and Villa Wigan - you deserve it !
How brilliant was that !

And not just one of the smaller clubs, but one that is managed sensibly financially. Fantastic stuff.
I wish you every bit of luck in surviving, the Prem is all the better for having Wigan there. I would love it if my team Leicester could come and join you there next season, but fear you'd wipe the floor with us.
Congratulations.

I've got both Wigan and Manchester City supporter friends there today. I couldn't be happier for Wigan.
Manchester United - champions
Wigan Athletic - FA Cup winners
Swansea City - League Cup winners
Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton - zilch.
Brilliant.

It's quite telling how many messages of support Wigan have had after being relegated, whilst Wolves had only messages of derision when they dropped out of the Premier League and then the Championship.
