I've managed to get a ticket for tonight's game. If I wasn't going I wasn't going to check the result until after the game. It's gonna be hard to watch to be honest but I will go and give my vocal support and cheer the lads at the last home game of the season. We may well come away with a win tonight but it could all go belly up on Sunday. If we miss out on CL, who, of the big names bandied about will still want to join us in the summer. Or even if we qualify will Wenger still buy the cheap kids from nowheresville that we haven't heard of.

Yeah , I think being at the game will be fine, but like you say, and like me, I am going to struggle to watch it.

Frankly if you can't beat Wigan then there's little point being the CL!
I think next year will be interesting, our squad is good enough for at least top 4, especially with no CL distraction. City and Chelsea (with Mourinho) will improve and United I think will struggle, even though Moyes is a good manager, he's going to do it a bit differently and I don't think they'll win the title. Tottenham without Bale don't have enough for Top 4, even with him scoring stupid goals they're struggling.

Whilst Champions League isalways an incentive for players and the cash is a big thing for the clubs involved, I don't believe it's fundamental to attracting quality players.
For example IF Chelsea did not finish top 4 (I know they will, now), would that mean they would not go out and strengthen with quality in the Summer? Personally I don't believe that would be the case.
Money talks these days. What will prevent Arsenal from getting quality players this summer or in the future will be a reluctance to pay big transfer fees and wages. An aggressive transfer policy this summer and a genuine intent from the club to compete for good players will get quality through the door, I've no doubt about that. All that remains to be seen is WILL the club takethat approach? There's been noises from the top that this will be the case...

I said you were struggling with him, not that you weren't going to do it. Also, we have a game in hand as I'm sure you're aware, so we still control our destiny.

I just saw your little dig at us and had to comment
Whatever happens, it was a great season with yet again another close fight between local rivals for a CL place
That said, COME ON YOU LATICS
