My Arsenal dilemma.

So this is my dilemma. I live by the Arsenal stadium and a mate of mine at work who is a massive Arsenal fan wants me to get a season ticket for the Emirates.
The group of guys he goes every week with know i'm a United supporter and apart from a bit of pisss taking they'd be fine with it.

I work long hours including Saturday mornings so while I could afford a season ticket for United it's impossible to get up and down to Manchester every week. And as for missing watching United games every week while at the Emirates, this season there were barely any United games on at the same time as Arsenal (when at the Emirates).

I love football and watch nearly every game no matter the team and being that it's a 10 second walk to the stadium and I have friends that go would it be wrong to get an Arsenal season ticket? Believe me, if I had the time to get up and down to Manchester i'd do it but I rarely finish before 1pm on a Saturday so it's impossible.

Surely any football is better than no football? Does anyone else on here watch other teams games due to being located near them?

You're not just watching Arsenal though. There's 18 other teams to watch, as well as the aforementioned United. If you have the dough and you want to, don't let misplaced scruples stop you.

Shinjis

Good point. As other have said though, the waiting list is long (although someone told me waiting lists have gone down and it's literally only a year at most these days.

Well. it's just an idea. Cheers for the feedback everyone

Waiting lists to watch Gervinho, Walnut, Ramsey and Giroud

To be fair it's a pretty awesome stadium and I like the idea of being able to leave my house at 2:55 on a Saturday to watch the game and then popping back home afterwards while all the rest of the supporters face a long, packed tube journey to wherever they have to go

Opportunity for a football fan to watch the league's most entertaining team?? No brainer

I'll be on the lookout for an emotionless spectator and we can have a nice fight... I mean chat on football one day

If I can't get to OT I watch non league. Usually have a good laugh too.
I don't know what your nearest is, but give it a go, you may be pleasantly surprised.

I've schlepped all the way across the island on many occasions to watch RCD Mallorca. Wish I hadn't bothered, apart from when RM or Barca fly into town. Even then ticket prices get trebled.

Getting an Arsenal ST? You must be joking.

It is a non-starter. Rather, spend your mullah on another sport.

I go to a few United games a season as my sis resides in Lancashire and i do that when i visit her.

I am a member of the Queens Tennis club, ATP affiliate champs and i have been on the waiting list for the AELTC ( for the Wimbledon tournament) so i get to see most matches at Queens and the ATP tour and i see the occasional Wimbledon first round matches by queuing on the day.
