Taking it in the pocket again!

With reports that Reina is close to securing a move to Barca, which some of us think will be good and some don't.

My problem with this is, why are we even thinking of letting him go for such a paltry amount? £8m for one of the best keepers in the league and he is one of the best keepers in the league and the fact that he's hd a couple of blips shouldn't detract from that fact. £8m is nearly half the amount that is being talked about for the 2 replacements and if we were stock brokers we'd be out of business. As our policy of buying high (Begovic, Mingolet) for £15m and selling low is a real problem in my eyes.

If there is a chance of keeping Reina we should.

His form in the last few months of the season was good. Replacing a keeper who can handle the pressure of playing for a high profile club is never easy. Look at the inconsistency of the keepers before Pepe joined. The manager is on record as saying that the squad is short on experience, yet there are plenty of fans on here who want our experienced, golden glove winning keeper booted out.

If he wants to go, which I think he probably might, then fair enough, but if the club has the chance to keep him, then they should.

The keepers before Pepe were good to begin with before becoming error prone, just like Reina. He should be sold whilst his value is decent.
