It's still rather early to have absolute condemnation of our summer activity at this point, but I deal with Arsenal's transfer dealings on the basis that until they're on the field, playing a pre-season friendly, they aren't an Arsenal player. The club have completely flushed optimism and hope from me regarding transfer activity.

I'm hoping I'm hugely mistaken this time, though, but the cynicism is strong in this one.

I suspect that there is a lot of 'sparring' going on at moment.

Fiorentina want best price on offer and Arsenal want to pay as little as possible.

Juventus like most Italian clubs talk big, but seldom have the money to meet their ambition. Most Italian clubs are into swaps and part-exchange with little money on table.

Jovetic manager is also probably cranking up pressure. It was not so long ago that Jovetic wanted to play in EPL. Now he wants to stay in Italy!

My guess is that if any deal is on table which suits Fiorentina AND Jovetic the club including Arsenal if
they are in market become their 'best friend'.

Lets be clear footballers with few exceptions and their
agents are whores. Money talks.

How much are Fiorentina asking for?

First I saw 30M. Latest I saw on twatter appearently between 22-25M.

The question you have to ask is would Fiorentina accept a defensive midfielder aged 27 plus a small amount of money for a striker and one of hottest properties in Italian Football.

I have not heard Fiorentina jumping for this alleged offer.

The only thing that I do know is that Juventus are shopping around for best deal ie almost probably the
cheapest deal.
