Le Frog Écossais has seen a bit of these guys this year, as ETG are the closest French team to my place. Both of these guys would be superb additions to the squad - Sagbo, especially, is the kind of target man we've been missing since JVOH. Djedje has been great the times I've seen him, but was horribly culpable at Bordeaux's 88th minute winner in the cup final the other day.
Good to know that the scouting network is catching up with football inthis area - there's hope for me yet!! ⚽

Sound like decent players. A lot of the African players are top quality these days. Think these two are Ivory Coast ? .
But you only have to look at the other European leagues and see gien much of an impact guys like these make. Usually quick, powerful and good technique. Would be good signings IMHO
Unfortunately for Celtic, I would imagine other clubs are keeping tabs on them too. The SPL is always a less attractive option. But the lure of CL football and the chance of using it as a stepping stone to the EPL, like many other players have in the past, may swing it

I read Villa are in for Tonev. He'd go the EPL before SPL irrespective if CL football

Aye I thought our chances of getting him would be slim.. Should've got him last summer when we were in for him

Cheers Stevie, is the full back a right or left back? Hopefully the latter. Lenny did not travel that journey just to sight see so there is probably something in this. Sagbo's career stats don't look great - has he had a good season, goals wise, or is he more of a striker that creates openings and opportunities for others?

I've heard the fullback can play both wings

Djedje usually plays on the right, but seen him play left back on a couple of occasions.
Checked out the stats on Sagbo, and they don't look great. But the times I've seen him in the flesh he's looked strong, mobile, held up play well, and scored and assisted.
He's certainly a very good player in a very avaerage side.
