Shame how things went for him and us but it's great to hear him speak well of the manager and the club.
Eduardo is a proper striker....in the mould of romario and exactly the type of player we need to bolster our squad..
A natural born striker who had his Arsenal career destroyed.
Eduardo DaSilva......
Great interview with Eduardo DaSilva

He's not as good as Van Persie or Henry but in terms of finishing he was looking as good as Henry

He was a different kind of finisher but one on one he was probably better than Henry

Maybe it's because I went to so many games in 07/08 where Eduardo featured. Just loved him.
Ah, 4-4-2 with Fabregas alongside Rosicky. Such a dream

Hleb and Eduardo in the same team. That's unfair on opposition teams.

He was the most natural finisher to ever play the game, knew where the back of the net, never broke a sweat in the box cool as a fridge

It was the formation change that really didn't help him.

"I think he had more talent in him than Van Persie. Is that fair to say?"
Don't be silly.
He was a very good player though. People go on about him like he was just this poacher.
His technique and ability on the ball was boundless.

That fkin goal against Burnley man. One of the most perfect goals I've ever seen.

Actually, after he came back from injury he couldn't hit a barn door at 10 paces - it was extraordinary and I think that's why we let him go.
His confidence was shot and he needed to play regularly to get it back - which was something we couldn't offer him.
