Khan - now PROVEN as world class

He defeated Maidana, who stopped Lopez last night in an amazing bout. I've said it time and time again that Khan is UK's best, and he's trying hard to improve his defense, which was his downfall before. KHAN IS WORLD CLASS!

I suppose Khan is world class because he has won world titles.

However, Khan is not an elite fighter. His porous defence and china whiskers make him a good fighter, but on the world stage, but nowhere near a great one.

Fighters such as Lopez and Ortiz got dropped and stopped by Maidana, Khan did not, yet Khan gets criticised much more.

What if Khan gets dropped again before he fights one of the "elite" fighters? Would you think he is world class then?

I think he certainly is the best p4p boxer in the UK.

Khan is a top 50 p4p in the world at the moment.

A win against Alexander at welter could propel him to the top 20

If he beats Alexander his stock will rise accordingly. Currently he is a world class fighter, but not in the elite class.
