the newspapers are talking about higuain and jovetic but they forgot we signed two new strikers one year ago, podolski and giroud who did very well. ok podolski didnt play middle striker but he can do that if its necessary. giroud played to 50% potential because he is living in a different country and learning many things. and even if every body says he was bad he scored 17 goals and gave 11 assists. so if he plays to 100% potential he can score 34 goals with 22 assists and this is the statistics of a world class player. jovetic is weak and plays different positions and higuain is not a target striker, if they want to help its ok but the priority is to buy players in other positions.

I wouldn't be surprised if Giroud looks to move to a more ambitious team, he is perhaps too good for us...

Giroud will improve, he's scored more goals than Drogba in the Ligue 1 and more goals than him in his first season in the PL

What percentage is Gervinho playing at (1%?). Imagine him at 100%. A 100% Giroud and Gervinho strike force will score about 75 goals between them, more than our entire squad in the season just gone. Looks like the title will be in the bag boys.
