The greatest event in Endurance Racing takes place this weekend.
35 Teams, 56 Cars and 168 Drivers.
The race itself begins at 14.00 BST on Saturday 22 June and finishes on Sunday at 14.00. The build up to the race begins in earnest on Wednesday 19th June with free practice and qualifying.

The race is actually four races in one with different types and makes of cars competing for the honours in 4 separate categories.
Spectators can distinguish the cars belonging to the various categories from the colour of their headlights and the background colour of the car number.
LM P1 Category (P stands for Prototype) (White Headlights, White Numbers on Red Background)

LM GTE Pro (Professionals) Category (Yellow Headlights, White Numbers on Green Background)
LM GTE Am (Amateur) Category (Yellow Headlights, White Numbers on Orange Background)

Driver Allan Simonsen has died as a result of the crash that took place 15 minutes into the race.
He was driving car 95 ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE V8.
