If anyone comes on your board from the top 5 teams (and I include City fans in those) and starts whinging on about not having history just look at the table below. All these clubs have history and are still in the league even Accrington stanley. History is not about what you win, or about how much you earn, its about fans, grounds and surviving.
SO CONGRATULATIONS to all the teams here!!!!
that my friends is HISTORY.

2 Aston Villa
3 Wolverhampton
4 Blackburn Rovers
5 Bolton Wanderers
6 West Bromwich Albion

Why don't more young English players try learning the trade abroad, they have it too cushy and just blaming foreign players is lazy xenophobia.
The home grown youngsters get to much to soon and are quite frankly lazy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
because they're technically inadequate and wouldn't cut it abroad.
English fans swoon over someone like Wilshire who can knock it around a bit, but on the continent that is the norm for a young midfielder.

Hence why they should go and learn there trade, that goes back to my point that they are lazy.

That point being to question those who regard history as only success. Metro_1 realised what the point of the OP was and addressed it straight away, and addressed the point succinctly. As for what ensued - really guys, step back and take a look at yourself. Because you're coming across as pretty pathetic.

Always nice to see that table and remember we were at the start of something thats now THE global sport. Very nice of the OP to bring it up. I think his reply about it highlighting the importance of all clubs is the biggest thing to take out of that. If the current trend of more and more football fans gravitating to a few top clubs continues, then the most historical, varied and proud league systems in the world could end up being lost. Every day you see a few more Man U shirts in Blackburn, and I'd imagine its the same for a lot of other clubs in that table as well.

Inevitable that, sooner or later, there will be a split between the super rich and the rest.

The lack of London clubs means there's discrimination against chimney sweeps.
