Mungo I didn't see tonight's game but he played well against Uruguay. Will try and watch it on I player.
And I've wanted to see him have good positioning and use his strength and size and to be a quicker passer. I've never been one of comment on his lack of attacking qualities. Good on him though. But a couple good performances from him for Nigeria is good but too little too late for me.

Don't hate anyone who plays for cfc boom just dislike the decisions to play some players. As we all do. Thought I cleared that up last week but u don't seem to get conversation and lost that debate

Mikel was brilliant yesterday. I think it's time we gave him the freedom to play like this from a deeper role.

The talent is clearly there, but seems to have a mental block at Chelsea. I hope Mourinho has big plans for him, only 26 as well.

He doesn't have a mental block when he plays for Chelsea, he just simply does what he is told.

It's not just this tournament, but even in ACON when I saw him, I can't see why he can't play the Modric role. He is actually not as slow as people think he is, he just seems to move like a bus when playing the DM role with us.

No I don't, I think in our team we have a different set of players to Nigeria and ask him to play a different role, plus I am not a critic of his play at Chelsea.

Yeah, I don't think he is cr.ap, he is a really decent player. I think he can improve his play for Chelsea though, even in the DM position. But I'm not sure now if it is because of him, or because he has been instructed to always take the safe option.

With our attacking trio doing well, Mikel should be given the free role in the DM and if Romeu is any good as people suggest he should hold the other position, ramires may have the energy and space but Mikel can obviously be more creative playing there. Exciting season ahead

IF Mikel can bring this play to Chelsea, then he can interchange with Romeau with the DM and the more free role in the midfield. Romeau is also an excellent passer both long and short, and has great 1-2 touch passing as well as great vision.

Together I think they can form a very solid partnership both attacking and defensively.
