United don't need cavani

Please Lord don't let this be true unless it's for less than £30 million.

If it's for less than £30mill it will be the biggest bargain of the century.

It won't be for anything less than £45mill. If we do get him it will be well worth it

Yes he's worth around £45m and we have no problem to pay £4m more so it's not a bad deal if true.

The 50mil asking price is inflated to put it mildly, 35mil is where i'd pitch a player of his age, abilities, commericial pull and hype without comparing him to even greater robberies (e.g. Carroll, Pastore). On the pitch, what we'll get out of him we could get from someone like Huntelaar at a third of the price, so that's an awful lot of stock Napoli (and ourselves if we met their evaluation) are placing on his age. Signing him at 50mil is us saying we consider him on par with Falcao and Neymar.

But, as i always say, not my money that's potentially going down a rat hole so not that fussed tbh. He is a very good player occupying an area of the team that requires additional resources - wouldn't be unhappy to see him here.
