Higuain is terrible. I'm glad we did not go in for him, was getting worried we may do.

I concur. The only other top class strikers who miss more sitters than him are Torres and Gomez.

Higuain is just a slightly more mobile Gomez to me. May as well get Gomez on the cheap.

Higuain missed sitters everytime I watch Madrid.

You don't watch him enough then. He is actually pretty clinical in front of goal and he has a better all round game then the likes of Gomes and Torres. Their was a stat I saw a few days back which said he had the best conversion rate in La Liga only behind the 2 best players in the world. He really can't be that bad of a signing for Arsenal.

He has this uncanny knack of failing in the big games, suits perfectly for Arsenal

good point . I watch only Madrid's important games.

I get the feeling Higuain is the safer bet and I’m fairly sure he’d be a success in the PL, Cavani represents more of risk but I think he could prove the better player.

I really hope you guys dont get Cavani cos i just feel his game is perfectly suited for the PL.

But if we can honest with ourselves, Higuain is a bigger name in world football than Cavani.
1 plays for Real & the other plays for Napoli in Serie A

i personally think Cavani is better but we all saw what happened with Shevchenko & Torres, wouldn't surprise me if Cavani flops for you guys, well that's what im hoping for anyway

Both Sheva and Torres were bigger names than Torres(When Liverpool got him) and Hernandez. I don't think name really matters.

Cavani is in a different situation to when we bought Torres and Sheva, he still is fit and strong, no big injuries, looking like he is improving his skill, and has scored 100 goals in a an ultra defensive Italian league in the last 3 seasons.

If he flops in the PL it will be due to him not adapting to the league. A gamble every club must take when signing a foreign player. But from what I've seen, he will fit in perfectly with our AM's.

Both will regularly bag 20 a season playing a full calendar, Higuain would probably kick on quicker on account of his more extensive European experience but Cavani wouldn't be far behind.
