If we do sign him anything more than £30 million is a complete rip off.

i think he would prefer to go to Real, the buyout is 52m , but the clause is valid until sometime in early august.

If its not met the player will more than likely go where he wants at a cost of between 40 - 50m.

As for Real, yep I can understand that but if he definitely does not want to come to Chelsea or England in general, just say so. If he is open to it, get a move on. Spanks of agents trying to extract as much money for themselves as they can. Not sure they give a monkeys about the players they represent.

If Real don't sign Bale this summer then i'd think Cavani will be high on their priority list.

That's the problem with transfers...one move depends on another move which depends on another move etc etc. Players and agents don't mind waiting till nearer the end of the transfer window to get the actual move they desire...it's the fans who get frustrated when things drag on...much more so than the players and the agents who are all basically playing high stakes games of poker.

I hope as well that we dont go about splashing the cash, for a change i think the player wants to move and if Madrid doesnt bid we can actually force the price down for a change. We need a striker but i think there are other options out there for 25-30million who can do us a job, even an older player like Tevez/Villa to just allow Lukaku to be brought into the squad under no pressure.
