So it's July the 1st and the Transfer window is officially open.
So rumours aside Dwight Gayle, Jerome Thomas look as though they will be signing and possibly Dobbie.
Personally not sure whether we need to sign Dobbie especially if Moritz decides to stay as that would give us 3 attacking central midfielders along with Garvan, although i'd rather see Williams in that position.
Thomas could be a good signing if Ollie can get a bit of consistency out of him, is he going to be Wilf's replacement?
As for Gayle i like the idea of spending what money is available on young talent , not older foreign mercenaries. He looks to have a lot of potential and hopefully can perform at the top level.
Even if we sign the above 3 players i still think we need at least 3 more players added to the squad.

I thought it was £4.5m for Gayle?
Maybe it's £4.5 with add ons total £8.5m.
Hopefully he does well. Not just because he's playing for us but it's always nice to come across an underdog story every now and then

For that sort of money i would think Gayle would be a starter.
Would like to see us buy Austin, i see Hull apparantly offered 4.5m for him this week which is never going to buy him.
The CB Bangura we are looking would probably be enough defensive cover, so now all we need is Austin, Adomah & Bridcutt and i'll be happy.

I'm not sure about Gosling all I can confirm is the confirmed "unconfirmed confirmation" from Olly is in fact unconfirmed. I haven't heard any other news so don't know if that was just a rumour.

Don't get too confident. We have a good record against Spurs at Selhurst Park.
