Deary me, guy comes on asking a polite question and gets the mick taken out of his team... Who are an established premiership team while we are a mid table championship one.

Like LIW says, he has a better chance of first team football than he would at say, man city. If he did leave I'd expect it to be to a mid to lower prem team and for a lot less money than has been talked about.

He's a good prospect, he had a great debut season, surrounded by dross that made him stand out. Just my take.

Think you're right about the pace LIW. The really top sides like full backs with pace to burn, to bail out others, and to give them at least parity with top class wingers. I think Byram is a good enough ball player, but unless someone wants to convert him to another position, which is a big gamble, I dont see him as a top 4 club's first choice right back. But then I've been wrong before!

Stoke do pay good money for players

Stoke would be good place to start for him.

After a bit of searching, someone on twitter posted a picture of someone walking in the car park at Stoke and said it was Byram, which it very clearly isn't.

But all so seen he's been linked to many prem teams, spurs, arsenal, Everton, stoke, city.

Means nothing till they bid, but I think they may go for him soon or leave it till jan. have to wait and see.

Good player in a carp side, fringe prem player for me. Not physically strong, lacks pace but is useful in attacking positions
