Not played it but sounds like it's a bit overrated, Bethesda should stick to open world free roam games, they're the masters of them!

Why do loads of people dislike New Vegas, I thought it was good, only downside for me was the lag and all the loading screens around the Vegas area.
But I want the next Fallout too, believe it's in Boston.
