if we don't buy anymore players
---------Cech-----------
Azpi--Brana----Luiz--Cole?
----Ramires---MVG----
Hazard-----Mata ------Schurrle
-------Lukaku------
Bench: Hilario, Lampard, JT, Oscar, KDB, Ba, Torres, Mikel, Moses, Bertrand
Now this team looks decent but not world beaters.
We really need one more defender may be Omerou and if we get De Rossi it will change the complete complexion of the team. Strength wise we have good depth at the moment. We also have 3 strikers who should be enough with Lukaku as main man.
oh and we need someone for LB position.

Mandzukic is a very good striker IMO, even if he's not world class. I'd be happy if we had Mandzukic as our first choice striker.
I agree their strikers are good, they offer something different to other alternative strikers. I'm slightly concerned about our strikers being able to contribute to overall play like their strikers do, however Lukaku deserves a chance. I also dont see many alternatives out there who can offer the same sort of overall play.

I do understand what your saying, but I think we still have a striker issue. We need someone who the players have faith in and the team can rely on.
We don't have that at all at the moment

They didn't need a world class center forward to win the champions league.

But that's the CL a cup competiton. I really don't think we would have got past Napoli without Drogba in the team.
I believe if you want to win the League you need a top CF in your team, or someone that can get ridicolous amount of goals from the wing/am (i.e Ronaldo).
Hazard, Mata and Oscar are great, but I don't see them as 20+ league goals a season attacking mids. However I do see them as the perfect suppliers to a top CF, which we have not been able to take advantage off. It will be a shame if this is the case next season as well.

I dont see that all. Mata scored a admirable amount of goals last year. Hazard has hit 20 goals before. Their collective problem was not being decisive in front of goal. They often got into positions, however weren't able to finish. Mourinho could bring these skills to them.

As I said Juventus and Bayern won trophies without a prolific striker!

We could beat most teams withot a top striker we have done so with Torres last few years. But when you face top top teams in big games, thats when you need a Drogba type player, we must replace him.
Failing that Jose get on the phone and bring Drogba back to Chelsea I think we let him go about 3 seasons too early anyway.

I should have said " If you want to win the Premier League".
Maduzick scored 15 goals in 22 starts for Bayern. That to me is pretty prolific, much better than 1 in 2. And in Spain you pretty much needed a mental scorer in your team to have a chance to win the league there these days.
Juve are the only ones, there team is pretty brilliant for Italian standards, having gone the previous season unbeaten, right now they're quite ahead of the competition, and with Tevez and Lllorente added, and Cavani going they will only get better.
I still don't think we will win anything apart from 3rd rate competitions without a top striker next year.

I'm not saying we need a 30+ goal a season striker. That would certainly help. But having but having a striker that can get at least close to 20 goals, but provide the services that Drogba provided in his first 2 seasons at Chelsea will work really well.
This is why I'm gutted we missed out on Cavani. His work rate is similar to that of Drogba's and scoring record is brilliant.
The 3 we have now, none are close to Drogba in his first 2 seasons here, Ba being the closest, and the goal scoring from our midfield is probably only slightly better than Robben, Duff, and Lampard.
Therefore I will be very worried if we go into the next season with the 3 we have right now.
