Can't wait for him to leave. Luis Keeps disrespecting the club every time he has a interview.
He may be a top class player but we need to show no player is bigger than the club.

To be honest, I think football is probably just as corrupt everywhere else, they're just making a huge effort to expose it - to the detriment of their reputation.

anyone thinking these foreign owners are not money laundering etc need to think again
Before Roman took over CFC there was ahuge report about how certain tycoons were looking at football to ''clean'' their money. Writing of sheva etc was not coincidence
The report never saw light of day

I've been one of his biggest supporters. Defending him when the likes of righteous and ARE were berating him.
I now have to admit that he needs to go but for the right amount.
Theres nothing wrong with him wanting to leave but the least he could do is show respect to the club by not commenting on any transfer related questions.
BR will find us another gem like coutinho with the money.

Interesting post, Rap. And I can sort of see where you are coming from, particularly with the jack of all trades thing - I really don't know what Suarez' best position is.
Will be interesting to whether the good form you showed without him can be replicated on a long term basis.
Stats and performances can sometimes be a little vague when you miss an important player. I think you had some better performances and were statistically better a few years ago when Gerrard was out, but I'm sure you'd all agree you are/were a better side with him in the team.

no suarez is a world class outside right who should not play in the middle but we use him there cos he's better than anyone else we have.
downing is a negative type who's not suffered on iota

He certainly hasn't played in the wider forward roles much.
Given the squad at the present time, if he stayed RWF is where I think he should play. I think he could be effective as a SS too, but Coutinho for me looks a natural in that position.

He's best supporting a striker, naturally a right sided forward.
He's not a centreforward and if you put him there he'll drift back and out wide anyway. but he'll still get 20+ goals.

Ah, so it's Suarez's fault that Downing was so shiite? That's a new one to lay on him. And it's Suarez's fault that Sterling was overused and suffered burnout? Get a grip guys....
