Apparently Ajax coach Frank De Boer has cautioned Christian Eriksen from moving to Liverpool.
"The style would not suit him," De Boer said.
"If they play as they do now, I would not go", the former Netherlands international told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.
"The playing style would not suit his own but, ultimately, it is for Chris himself to decide."
What aspect of our playing 'style' would not suit Eriksen exactly?
Just demonstrates that there has certainly been some contact between LFC and the player.
Is he close to signing? I really hope so.

Yeah we spend a lot of time hoofing it up to players who are crap at heading. That makes a lot of sense. If you're gonna WUM at least make an effort.

Toor: Well, there's been ongoing dialogue between the two clubs for a while. Other clubs who were keen on Eriksen have since secured alternative signings. We've got the funds, the manager has stated his intent and Ajax may now be open to some negotiation.
Obviously the ball's in Erkisen's court so it may now be down to how well BR can 'sell' the project to a player who has stated his intention of moving on. He's had CL experience and we can offer him opportunities to not just compete but to win in future seasons. We have that potential.
So, can we match his ambition? Yes, I think we can.

Yeah I don't trust random lines from reporters. From the quotes though, it seems he'll sign a new contract first.
