Gold confirms Zapata move.

David Gold has confirmed West Ham will be signing Zapata subject to a work permit being granted.

Didn't he just sign for Milan. Italian football clubs are weird, forever signing players then letting them out on loan or giving them up on co-ownership deals.

Different Zapata, this is Duvan.

Never heard of the lad but his statistics look decent.

However, I don't think you lot are going to be successful on obtaining a work permit if you're going down the route of "exceptional talent".

I fear you will be right, worth a try though.

We sadly have pulled out of the Zapata deal as indications show he won't get a work permit we hope to sign a replacement in 7-10 days.

Very sad indeed. I told you earlier how weird the home office rules are.
