"Sell McCormack, bring in Le Fondre and someone foreign"
Do you try to look like an idiot on purpose? How did you ever get employee of the month (albeit numerous times) is beyond me

With the comment 'someone foreign' I just hope he means a footballer - Not say Desmond Tutu or Plastic Bertrand...!

I think that in the current climate at ER we are skint therefore its more than likely we will sell both of them to finance further deals.I feel that the million we spent on Murphy was the carrot to get you to buy season tickets our marque signing if you like.
Incidentally all you Beckford lovers the chances of him returning our nil.
I told you he was on 40k a week and got pooh poohed by Liw and his merry band of followers well I can now reveal he will not be signing for Bolton unless a deal can be struck about is personal terms
Leicester got Svenitus when they bought him from Everton not only did they pay over £2m for him but also agreed a 4 year contract at £2m a year
Town loaned him last season and paid 20k a week towards his wages but Hoyle did not pursue the matter for the forthcoming season
Nobody however stupid would pay him anything like that so it looks to make he will be rotting in the reserves unless Bolton come up with something realistic so you can get Beckford for free but it will cost you £4m in wages over the next 2 seasons
So lets put this to bed once and for all

Re Beckford, great player when he was with us, saw the escape route, took it, hasn't done anything of note since. The grass is not always greener..!
I wouldn't want him back personally. As others have said on threads, there is better, younger and harder working out there (hopefully Smith will prove this).
£40k a week to bench warm.
That boy should have stayed at Leeds.

eric the boy was on 5k Bates offered him 6k so that's 300k a year since he left Leeds he has earned 1.25m at everton a year and £2m at leicesterI Im,sure he will agree with you

I fully accept your point re the money. I acknowledge that fact. Talking about him as a player, I think he would have prospered with Leeds by staying another season, he would have still got a move to the PL if we didn't get there. He would have been revered as a great Leeds striker had he stayed and done so, sadly he chose the money and since he left Leeds he has become a shadow of his former self, he has not progressed and is not given the adulation he always sought, that's what I mean. Money isn't everything.

Totally agree Eric but try telling that to the modern day player Beckford is totally disliked at Leicester as the fans he has let them down with is lacksaday attitude and he was not well liked at Town either
