Andre Moritz, the Brazilian forward is due at the Reebok for talks with the Wanderers this afternoon.
It looks as though Dougie is using his knowledge of Crystal Palaces players and is looking at trying to broker a deal for the Brazilian who he took to Palace last year.
Moritz has turned down an offer to extend his contract because he feels that he won't get the playing time that he would like.
Here is the article from the Bolton News.
Andre Moritz poised for talks with Bolton Wanderers
10:04am Tuesday 16th July 2013 in Latest By Marc Iles
ANDRE Moritz will speak with Wanderers over a potential move later today.
The Brazilian front man, who opted not to extend his contract at Crystal Palace last month, is well known to Dougie Freedman who snapped him up from Turkish club Mersin last summer.
It is understood that he will discuss a move before tonight's friendly with Rotherham United – but that the terms of the deal have not yet been agreed.
Moritz can play right across the front three and could provide competition to both Chung-Yong Lee and Chris Eagles.
He made 27 appearances for Palace last season, scoring five goals, but turned down a new one-year contract at Selhurst Park because he could not be guaranteed enough first team opportunities.
I haven't seen him play so I don't know anything about him. Anyone with some knowledge about him, please enlighten me and perhaps other members of the forum who don't know much about him.
Thanks.

I already messages him on Twitter. I intend to do match threads if he has left 606. He hasn't replied yet, so don't want to step on his toes.
Not enough activity for a thread tonight.
