RIP Bert and thanks for the sentiment Hounslow , the one thing about this forum is the respect paid by all fans to rival clubs departing players. Well may it continue and give yourselves a pat on the back as well everyone.

RIP Bert, indeed a true legend. I just explained to one of my Scottish colleagues who had never heard of Bert Trautman despite being a football fan in his late Thirties.
Some legends in football transcend national inter city rivalries, Bert was one of them.

To true mate Bert was such a man.

A true Hero in every sense of the Word. Will always be fondly thought of My daughter who is just 15 was also saddened by the news R.I.P great man

Wonderfull man, hugely popular at Wolves.
