The Big Fights This Weekend!!!

Keith Thurman vs Diego Gabriel Chaves

Andre Berto vs Jesus Soto Karass

Andre "Bertoid", the former drug cheat, take on Soto Karass, which is a make or break fight for Andre.

Berto has never beating a top competitor of the sport, not that Soto is, but winning this fight will put him back in the mix.

Berto came up short against the likes of Ortiz and Guerrero both themselves unproven against top welters.

The next fight is a fight I'm much more looking forward to, Thurman vs Chaves. Thurman a big hitting up and coming weltering is looking to make waves in already packed division. I win tonight will get him much more exposure and probably a fight with winner of Berto vs Karass.

Anthony Dirrell also fights tonight at SM

Anyone staying up for it?

Couldn't stay up, I wasn't motivated enough

watched Thurman vs Quintana earlier, Thurman looks a devastating puncher, but he's not the best mover, with his head or his feat.

is that a good observation of him?

realistically, who will he fight next? any of the big names?

and is quintana a good fighter?

Kamran

Thurman fights exactly like Haye. Same style and even looks like him a bit.

Berto fights like a gimp

RGS, who could Thurman realistically fight next? How good is he?

And Haye is quite quick for his size, Thurman seems a bit static. Lacks movement.

Haye is more athetically gifted than Thurman. Thurman like Haye loads up on his punches. Looks a good prospect but we wont know how good he can be till he fights elite fighters. Thurman is mandatory for Broner's WBA title at 147 I believe. With being a golden boy promoted fighter he has lots of options.
