Julio Pleguezuelo, the highly rated CB we stole from Barca this summer, made his first start.
Ramy Bensebaini was his partner, an Albanian CB on trial. I guess it is safe to say he didn't have the best of trials.
Both made mistakes a plenty, goal costing mistakes included.

Dj I was at the match
personally very impressed with Julio Pleguezuelo. The problem was it was clear he could not communicate well with Ramy Bensebaini. They could not hold the line together and were pressing too high.
The fault was due to poor midfield. Olsson and Hayden kept giving the ball away. They were destroyed by Lutons midfield who were tenacious and very physical.
But in terms of solo performance, Pleguezuelo was very strong and made very good 1 one 1 tackle. Read the game well. But he lacked confidence and kept going forward too much.

Not Gatting's fault, although he has to take blame to start two defenders who never played against each other.
Very very dissapointed in Hayden, olsson and Yennaris who were the culprit and the worst players on the pitch
