More questions than answers..

Well just finished watching the game, there were some positives for sure with saldado looking very promising and some nice link up play in midfield at times.

I can't help though that with our last pre-season game out of the way there are now more questions than answers. A couple of seasons back I would say we were maybe 2 or 3 players short from competing at the top of the table, now though we seem to be quite a distance away. I just hope that we aren't jeopardised again with the wholesale squad changes taking place.

I'm not convinced with left footers playing on right and vica versa, it's ok as an alternative but every game it becomes very obvious.

What is paulinhios strength ? What does he do.

How will the midfield 3 shape up ? Who plays furthest forward?

What's up with Ade, Parker and holtby ?

Are we after a new left back? Rose isn't good enough.

Why zonal marking ?

Will bale be staying ?

Am I the only one who thinks were in a bit of a mess. We've got new players who aren't fit, the defence is a shambles, we look disjointed..

Any thoughts ? Can see a massive 3 weeks coming up

kyle walker, centre mids, lennon and soldado =

everyone else - pretty poor.

rose = cant defend, no idea what so many of our fans see in him. didnt rate him when he was first with us, didnt rate him at sunderland, dont rate him now.

another goal conceded from a set piece is a facking joke. when will we learn? i will answer that myself - we wont facking learn and it will cost us every single time.

BAE is a far far superior left back to danny rose. he is just clearly out of favour.

dunno what his story is tbh.

I do think BAE has his flaws defensively too. Doesn't stay with our defensive line and lacks concentration. Anyway rose is the only match fit one of the two atm, so he has to start vs palace

Fryers did ok, he's young so it would be harsh to criticise him. Wouldn't say he played 'well' though

bae is a defender though. rose is a converted midfielder, and it shows in his decision making.

BAE on one leg is better than Rose. Is BAE out of favour or is he injured?
