Kagawa

Partly out of interest and partly for my fantasy football team; how do you see Kagawa fitting in this season?

Personally I think he's a talented player and after a year to settle and get over his injuries I thought it could be a really big year for him. As such I was surprised to see him on the bench today. I know you can't read too much into the charity shield so what do you boys think? Has he had a good pre-season and will he be a key man for you?

No I mentioned wingers. However counter attacking football is way more effective with fast wide players.

Bayern, Real, United etc.

Th ink he would have played today from the start if he'd had a proper pre-season. He didn't play particularly well on Friday but he's probably 2 weeks behind everyone else fitness wise.

I'm not expecting miracles from him this season, but I'd want an improvement on last season. Mulling over putting him in my fantasy football team. Probably won't because its usually the kiss of death.

Dortmund didn't play with wingers
-------------------
Nonsense. Blazscikowski (sp.) is the definition of an out and out winger

Squad player. Blimey. He's leave then I'd imagine, too good for that in my opinion.

Thanks though fellas. Sounds like the wrong player for the club? Fergie didn't often get those calls wrong though.

Does counter attacking not consist if quick one touch passing?

Statman
------------
Being honest here. How many times did you want Kagawa to be more positive in his passing or running last season?

I certainly did. He's got a great first touch that always brings him into space, but rather than run into that space or pass into it, he is very very patient which doesn't suit us IMHO. But I may be wrong. Just my opinion.

I thought it was more the fact he was waiting for people to make the right runs for him. I think he will have a better season this year.

I dunno Statman, I'm genuinely baffled.

His best games IMO were Spurs H and Norwich H.

Both games we were camped in the opposition half where he's at his best.

He needs to go back to Dortmund, they're better than us at the moment and while Klopp is in charge that won't change.

I think you're jumping the gun. It was always likely to take him a season to settle, plus he's been used wrongly. Lets wait and see what Moyes tries to do with him before throwing in the towel. I'm baffled at the fact you think he should leave when a new manager has taken over.
