The inaugural 11 point game.

I am getting a little concerned that, over time, Derby’s exceptional achievement of gaining 11 points in an entire season may be forgotten. Many magnificent events happen that sadly, with the passing of time fade away out of people’s memory. Well, we are obliged to, heck call it our duty if you must, keep this alive so it will never be forgotten.

What is the best way to achieve this I hear you ask?

Well, I believe a game at the start of each Premier League season whereby each contestant chooses which month each of the promoted teams will reach 11 points; will help keep the memory alive on JA606.

The three, just to remind you are:

-Crystal Palace.
-Hull Tigers.
-Cardiff Reds.

I predict, even though it may be a comical season for them, the Stripy Nigels will be the nearest to equalling Derby’s record; when I say near and everything being relative, I mean a bus ride away.

My prediction is as follows…

Cardiff: September.
Hull: November.
Palace: January.

Points gained, prizes, tables, etc. to be sorted out at a later date. All suggestions welcome.

Remember the target which Derby so gallantly was 29th March. Just to elucidate, that was nearly April until 11 points were achieved, over 7 months and 30 games of football. I won’t continue; I am sure there are enough stats out there to peruse, in fact wiki have done a page…

Do Newcastle fans ever laugh at Derby's season?

Yes, but it's tainted with the fact you smashed Sunderland's title of Worst team in History.
Thanks for stopping by though, even if it was to look a plonker

I'd assume because we finished higher than all of those clubs (Crewe, Rotherham, Forest etc)

...of course, if it's a results-based determination, how did Forest get on against us when that team played you..?

So shut your French face.

No. You finished bottom. Fewest points. Worst team ever.
We were finishing 2nd BTW.

Hope this helps

Why do Forest League 1 Chumps keep missing the word "Prem" out? 10 MEN....WE ONLY HAD 10 MEN....this is so easy

"10 fans....they only had 10 fans"

279. Woeful away support.
Two thirds full for your opening day fixture
Couldn't even beat us on their own turf.

Cardiff: 8 points
Hull: reached 11 points 5th October
Palace: struggling yet.

So, only two out of three wrong so far Strett; well done
