Stoke were poor

Delighted with the win we played really well, our finishing wasnt great but 1st game and understandably rusty.

Stoke were shocking and tried to play rather than bully us which played into our hands. A wins a win. Thanks to Mignolet. I thought we had thrown it away and was cursing our missed chances and good work. But he made sure we took all 3 points!

We didn't allow them to play their normal game. They never had much of the ball and we kept the freekicks and corners down. They didn't have much in the way of chances to from open play.

I see as we have beaten hem everyone is making out the opplsition ot be relegation fodder. I remeber people said the same last season with norwich when we spankd them 5-2 but then the gooners u ited etc drew or lost and that tune changed.

Stoke were fairly poor but Begovic had an awesome game, mignolet with that match winning save though, epic finish to the game.
