Managed to watch match on a link provided by Highland.
Pearce looking better than last season as was Peltier and particularly Austin who really had a presence and an effective one today.
Warnock blew hot and cold, Lees was outmuscled from time to time but thankfully Kenny was in great form to save blushes quite a few times.
Murphy maybe needs more time, but Green was very poor.
With Varney not offering much we still have too many non performers in the side (Varney and Green in particular).
Poleon was great first half but seemed to faded in second, but has to play matches to learn his trade and it was SO refreshing to see a manager prepared to drop his own signing and play an up and coming player, kudos to BM.
Mccormack played ok but far too often getting the ball in our half, would really like to see him paried up front with Poleon with one of Diouf/Varney/Hall providing some sort of ammunition for them.
Tonge played well when he came on, Smith did little.
Before match this should have been 3 points in the bag, but after match a draw was a fair result and good indication that BM desperately needs some more quality to be able to do anything with this side.
His post match interview sounded like he is going to have to make do with what he has got.
Thoughts from afar

If McDermott can get Poleon to build up his strength in the same way Byram did last year, I feel it could just make that small difference...maybe even leading to one or two more goals.

1. Lees was terrible, out muscled atleast 3 times which resulted in one goal, big mistake later on nearly cost us was it not for Kenny
2. Midfield is awful, Murphy needs to improve big time, we added one to many 0's to the cheque imo
3. Austin ,Pearce and Peltier have all improved
4. We offer no attacking threat whatsoever. Varney is dreadful, Hunt aint far off and Poleon hasn't got the ability yet.
5. Green is shocking, never rated him
6. Overall, were in a right mess, looked poor against a poor side.

Warnock is solid at this level. Wasn't convinced last season but I now think he's a good defender. He made some mistakes but not as many as any other player. He is quick as well.

Maybe we should all go out and shoot eachother, atleast that way we'll know someone will win!..
Or should I say be right!..
The last man standing is always classed as the winner, but what a lonely world that'd be eh?.
Shaun, how many of your names agree with you?..

If we have no wingers then you need full backs that will bomb forward i.e. Byram. Warnock didnt offer that ,Peltier did in last 15 mins. Poleaon was only real outlet for pace. Would be nice to see McCormack and Poleaon up front with Byram back to offer crosses as I see Murphy getting better game by Game. We still look like we are cacking are self in defence when crosses come in though which is worrying,

I wonder if McD has thought about anymore loan signings!.
A carthorse with a carthorse, might be a perfect partnering!.
