Stretford this is an article about Mourinho not Moyes

Still bitter that Jose wanted nothing to do with the mancs, don't blame him either

Stretford was one of quite a few who thought Jose was a done deal to Old Trafford and was absolutely gutted about Moyes' impending arrival

Jose would have jumped at the chance and you know it.

He was never offered the job though. Not down to his ability or ego but down to the fact he never stays at a club long enough and usually leaves a club in turmoil when he does go.

He left Chelsea and you struggled. He left Inter and look at them now. And Madrid couldn't wait for him to go. Some players didn't even speak to him for last few months apparently.

He's only special for a few years. Then he buggers off again.

That's a good defence now just smile to the cameras and no one will remember how distraught you were at Moyes being appointed and how much you were praising Jose when you thought he was getting the job.

Distraught?

He certainly wasn't my prefered choice but I think distraught is going a bit too far.

I guess we'll see won't we. And since when did what I want matter to United and the directors. They make the decisions, not me.

I'd have prefered Jose even just for the short term or even Klopp but we got Moyes. So be it.

Did you lot want Rafa? No......but you got him. And you moaned and booed him.

Moyes has no bad blood at United does he? And your previous manager wasn't "discharged" in an undignified manner either

"I would actually be livid if we replace the greatest manager of all time with a guy who has never won a trophy and never managed in Europe properly but for a few qualifying games.

Er... I think you got that wrong. Jose's Chelsea under Grant and Clarke went on an incredible winning streak despite all odds, the heavy injury list compounded by the departure of 4 or 5 African players for their tourney.
I remember Anelka being brought in . We were unlucky not to pip the mancs in the league and in Europe wewere a kick away from being Champs. Hardly struggling?

Imagine Mourinho's face after finding out that DM was the Chosen One for the United job. Especially after all that sucking up and backside kissing Mourinho did to SAF over the years

I bet he was píssing himself laughing how weak the opposition manager he'd be facing was
