Yet another bid snubbed...

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12874_7088962,00.html

Aye, we're both in the same boat or didn't you notice?

...How long have you been after a goalkeeper again?

I'm fed up of going onto the Rangers board every day and seeing Celtic fans gloating, when your mob are doing exactly the same thing?

It doesn't matter how many bids we're talking about, at least Rangers are making bids, instead of scrounging for another club to pay most of their wages (Bellamy) or low and behold saying a club is valuing a player too highly yet you're "still interested" (Long)....

Anyways, I know it's mainly the usual WUMs who are spouting the usual pash, and we have our own fair share of them too.

For once I wouldn't mind Rangers AND Celtic attracting some decent players to the SPL, to make it hopefully a good season domestically and in Europe...
Neither of us have money to throw about any more than the other nowadays, and it won't take a lot of looking to find that we've both got to make the most of the hand we've been dealt

Hector flogging his Neil Lennon face mask on eBay already... Thought you would have kept it as a reminder of last seasons glorious failure...

Maybe when we have 7 bids knocked back for the keeper you can sleg Celtic

Do you live on the moon? The whole Rangers transfer fiasco came to a head during the Goodwillie saga. 7 or 8 bids was it? There is no comparison here.

As for your barmy comments about Bellamy and Long.

But you don't like WUMS...

Faced with the prospect of losing out on another two "signing targets", the bluenose wum are at it again cos it might make them feel better. TBF, losing the Anderlecht boy is not another Whyte balls up a la Goodwillie if you believe what's in the papers. Unlike many of Rangers bids, I can see a successful conclusion to this bid. They want £2m (sound familiar anyone), we've bid £1.4m (so did Genk) but they've said they're willing to meet us halfway. The boy says he would prefer to come to Celtic than Genk (don't blame him) to follow in the footsteps of King Artur. Watch this space.....

Clubs do not want to do business with Rangers as they are worried about future stage payments and are demanding full payment up front.
Rangers want to pay £100 deposit and then pay a£100k each year from next year.

Celtic don't do 29 no1 transfer targets in one summer........

and we don't make 7BIDS for one player.

Yet we have signed 3 players and had an offer accepted for at least one other?

strange world we live in

Some of those 3 were frees others holding clubs couldn't wait to get rid. These clubs were not too worried if they got full money or not as players were no use to them.

What top star are you talking about price agreed and remember just because Ally or Whyte says so is not proof.

This is completely false! If a football club agrees a fee, even if the club then goes into administration the selling club is still entitled to the full fee.

Likewise any players owed cash by the club in administration still get 100%.

HMRC are trying to get this changed however it is still the case, check out Portsmouth for proof and stop making things up because it's suits your paranoid wee fantasies. It's very boring and easily dismissed.
