If Seamus continued improving at the rate he has, given his age and compare that to how Bale was 4-5 years back how much do you think he would be worth!?

I remember when Bale played at LB at Goodison when we were losing 2-0, Coleman came on tore him a new one. You'd never have thought the same player would go on to be worth than £90m+.

Thanks Alas, that was the point of this article. I know Bale has come on a lot more but in 4 years Coleman will be the complete player, just not as young

Coleman won't ever be as good as bale but he will develop into a top top class right wing/full back it helps he has the best left back in the world to learn from as do all our young full backs

He is a fantastic player right now. His breakthrough season came at RM, he played a less important role/performed less well in his second season.
Moyes picked up a real bargain, he struggled I think because he never played much top level football. Now he had added experience to his attitude (shows no respect) then he can only get better. Allows Martinez to play three at the back or with wingbacks/attacking fullbacks as we have two quality fullbacks

Colemans second full season with us was blighted by injury,he was never fully fit.
You can compare Coleman to Bale as they both have great engines both are strong and quick and roughly the same age.
Thing is Bale has far more composure on the ball has far better first touch and has a far better footballing brain.Bale is way ahead of Coleman, but also has way more top level experience.
If Colemans development continues at the pace it has over the last 3 seasons then we do have a very good player, but nothing to me suggests he would be anywhere near the player Bale is.
Few will be
