So, with NEP having a mardy on the below link regarding media access for Forest, it raises a few questions.

I know BD hasn't had the best relationship with the media but the stance is certainly interesting. No post match interviews with staff or players.
Does this mean we are only going to Natalie 'dumb questions' Jackson having access and will this affect Fawaz's tweets?
Can't see it being just a commercial decision and seems Jim Price may be involved.
Thoughts?

It's quite clear mate.

Davies and Price are just annoyed that some journalists are investigating Price's past, after his business went under and he was suspended from practising law.
He can't expect to walk into a high profile job like Forest CEO without anyone questioning his past, so to deprive many older fans of media coverage out of spite is rather distasteful to me.

Yep. It's very very poor behaviour.

Bullshhit! They are not investigating anything. There is no police/criminal investigation and all involved in the inquiry cannot give any details to the media.
It can only be considered as muck racking as they are fully aware that the man is in no position to defend himself, at this present time.

There is no media black out, nor is there a fallout with anybody in particular at the evening post. This is to do with moving with the times. There are plenty of opportunities for fans to ask questions directly to the club. Every issue from away fan seating in wb, to goal music has been taken up and a solution sought. When was the last time local people, or actual fans had the kind of dialogue with the decision makers over matters that actually matter? Supporters of nottm forest have never been so valued so stop letting the hacks who feel undermined use you as puppets to spread there ridiculous notions of a media black out. Are you really that upset about hearing info directly from fawaz and co, rather than through the Nep? If forest have more control over the information coming out of the club, it will increase the appeal of a forest player subscription, thereby benefitting the club directly. Let me repeat, this is not a new thing, others clubs have progressed in this way too.

Outstanding Arrogance and Stupidity from Davies and Price

The local media were very much in the old board's pocket. I remember hearing a Billy Davies interview where Davie's answers had been heavily edited.

Redfor50 the local press would love to turn popular opinion against the club in order to achieve they're goals. They're goals are ultimately selfish, in that they expect to make a living off the back of the club at no cost to themselves. As already stated, fans have more access to real info than ever before so they are not missing out. Davies and price ultimate goals are promotion and by whatever means necessary. If the siege mentality he's created is working, as it did for Ferguson who treated the local press in exactly the same manner, then as fans we should be united in support and not manipulated by the journo with hump.

The journalists are trying to protect the integrity of their profession, whilst bd is trying to protect the interest of the club. If those two cross, one has to give and we should, as fans, always side with the club, otherwise what's the point?
