I'd be very worried if Allen was used as Lucas cover.

Lucas is not gonna get injured

I will only be worried if both Lucas and Gerrard were missing.

Gerrard is an exceptional deep midfielder.

Sakho & Agger are CB's and NOT DM's.

Play them at CB only.

You play CM's in the centre of the park and if asked to hold they hold.

You don't ask CB's to play in DM's unless out of total desperation when no other choices are left.

But they're both left footed, so they can't play on the right. They can only play if they're 100% comfortable in their position. There is no room for flexibility

Agger, no chance.

The way Henderson is progressing this is a possibility. He certainly wouldn't have a problem of getting around the pitch to cover. Allen could cover, but only in home games when we are looking to break teams down. When he covered last season in this position, he pressed at the wrong times, leaving gaps.

Therefore using your logic,

G Johnson should never be utilised as LB.

S Downing should never have been used on the right.

Is this what you're saying ?
