Ozil isn't a 'depth' player. He would be joining us to be a guaranteed starter like RVP. Where that leaves Rooney or Kagawa I don't know.
Anyway, it's a done deal. He's practically an Arsenal player now.

Agreed but that is missing the point though. We have Rooney, Kagawa and Nani who will make the difference in games like that in the future. None of them were match fit yesterday which was a freak occurence.
It's not though Rob, is it. Out of or attacking options how many of Young, Valencia, Nani, Kagawa and Rooney are ever fit all season? You can almost guarantee half if these being out at any one time and that's been the case for the last 3 years.
We need a winger as badly as we do a midfielder. We are one of the most dull sides to watch in the league.

Then we should buy a winger, not shunt Ozil onto the left or right.
Di Maria would be a much more useful signing.

I don't see how we could accommodate Ozil apart from maybe having him drift in from the right, he's not going to play on the left wing and we have about three players who can play in the hole behind the front man and he obviously isn't a central midfielder so unless we changed to a 4-3-3 i don't see where he'd fit in at United
