Would not mind him going if we didn't just have mediocre/wahed up strikers.

Think we all will get a nice shock with Eto'o, which means we only have 1 washed up striker at the club. Torres.

Hope so, but our record with travelled strikers does not inspire me.

quietly confident about Eto'o, free scoring throughout his career
if he doesn't produce the goods though, we are left with the same misfiring duds as last season. what grates me about this transfer window is our laklustre approach towards revamping our misfiring our front line

Didn't we try with Falcao, Cavani and Rooney. The first two we couldn't do much about and with Rooney well we couldn't do much about that as well.

How can you possibly deduce that Eto'o is "washed up" having not seen him play for his previous or current club?
Must be claiming that he is "washed up" because of his age...
People need to be reminded of a certain Ivorian.
