Veron was one of the biggest midfielders on the planet and didn't live up to his huge price tag. Arsenal will certainly be better as Ozil is a massive upgrade compared to the 'attacking force' that is the saviour of English football Jalk Wilkinshire.
I hope he does do well though as the PL needs top players. Does the PL have better players now then they did last season?

Really? Ozil aside, I don't think any club has strengthened massively. Spurs have brought in 2 or 3 good players but lost a great one in Bale.

City have bought a few players and the lad that plays upfront for Spurs seems to have brought his shooting boots (and this is something they have needed since Lineker).
Despite losing Bale there are still some really top players in the league this year.

I'm concerned for Ozil, carrying that team will take its toll. Look at how it affected Van Persie and Fabregas. Immediately they escaped, the injuries stopped

A marquee signing really lifts a club and shows intent to rivals..United showed it towards the rest of the league last year with the capture of RVP
