Until January, good move?

How long realistically do you think until he will be ready for first team or do you not think he will be good enough?
Chalobah Joins Forest

Ideally should have gone to a PL team for 6 months (with view to full season), but guess after nothing fell through this is next best till January. I would have preferred Watford - apparently they wanted Chalobah and Chalobah wanted them but we were not happy with the percentage they were willing to pay of his wages. Still, either way I think he'll do well. Apparently they're still short of a CDM.
I think if he keeps progressing like he did last season he could be ready by next summer for a place in the squad.

He'll get a lot of games for us as he won't have any decent competition for the DMC slot. I'm biased but I think he's better off with Forest than Watford this season. I hope he does well and goes back to Chelsea a better player.

should of been a PL team.

Considering how much it could stand to Chaloblah in the future would the club not jsut have paid half his wages (or a portion of them anyway) so he could play for a pl team.

Yeah that was also touted as a reason why he didn't go PL. Maybe his new contract is on something like 30-40k and clubs just aren't willing to even pay half that for an 18 year old.

Top end of the Championship is as competitive as bottom end of Prem and I doubt he would have played regularly for most Prem clubs. Where's the guy that insisted he was going to Watford anyway??
