MATCH PREVIEW

Things must be going well for Arsenal when even 'Silent Stan' Kroenke is talking.

The Gunners' majority shareholder gave a rare interview this week to underscore his support for Arsene Wenger and declare himself "totally aligned" with the country's longest-serving manager. Indeed, as Wenger approaches Tuesday's 17th anniversary of his Arsenal appointment, it seems highly likely that he'll soon commit to staying for a good while longer.'s remarkable to think that just six weeks ago his methods were being loudly criticised by fans at the Emirates and over the airwaves. One major signing and eight straight wins in all competitions later and it's 'tout va bien' for the Arsenal boss.

Leaving aside Wednesday's cup defeat at Birmingham - which Michael Laudrup won't lose sleep over - life is pretty rosy for Swansea at the moment as well.

After losing their first two league games they're now three unbeaten, with an historic European win at Valencia to throw in too.
Yet, whilst that was the second of a current run of three successive away wins, the welcome in the hillside might have got a little TOO hospitable with the Swans having gone seven home games without a win in the Premier League.

Mind you, what a home start they've had this season! A record Liberty Stadium crowd for the Manchester United game was quickly beaten by another for the visit of Liverpool, and now it's Arsenal.
It should be a really good game, with the original pass masters up against a Swansea side that's passed the ball most times and more accurately than anyone else so far. No wonder Wenger is an admirer, with Michu singled out for special attention.
"Like a Bergkamp" is high praise - and a fashionable comparison, with Mesut Ozil's Arsenal impact also likened to that the Dutchman once made.
Bergkamp v Bergkamp? I can't wait to see it.

Yeah Giroud needs a goal soon agree. But he is important for our team. Involved in our goals.

The media just slated Arsenal for so long that they're not ready to admit they were wrong.

And want to remind you all that we have 6 first teamer out injured.

Why are we worried about pressure? The players thrive on it. Thats why they play football. I don't buy this buckling under pressure nonsense.

This team has grown up together. And each player in our success has been criticized by the fans and come through it.

They are not going to buckle under any pressure.
