Lloyd Webber writes a musical about...

Stephen Ward.

It is meant to have some great songs,

"Mick loved me, but now he's gone"
" I thought I was striker, so why am I playing Left Back."
" I do like to be beside the seaside" even if it is only on loan
"When Irish eyes are smiling"
"Old Gold" a rehash of the Spandau Ballet song

Would be a good story to tell.

Accidental hero stuff, like the Jamaican bobsleigh team, terrible but got to play on the big stage anyway

Surely the best song would be......

"Don't know what I'm doing here, but I'll carry on regardless"

"Am I a man, or am i a muppet"
"As long as he needs me"

Or anything from les miserables...
