Some college cheerleaders are awful, equal rights gone too far.
Others don't care about equality, west coast in particular.

In fairness the reasoning at college level is about getting more and more people simply involved in the game day festivities, hence the brass band etc.
Pretty clever really, more people involved equals more people with an interest to be there equals more money coming in and so on.
