Defender Sam Byram, recently an unused substitute for Leeds, could be recalled to the starting line-up after returning from a long-term hip injury.
Midfielder Luke Murphy and striker Luke Varney hope for recalls after being on the bench for the last two matches.
Birmingham will assess Wade Elliott and David Murphy prior to kick-off.
Midfielder Elliott has has missed three of the Blues' last four matches with a calf problem, while left-back Murphy hobbled off against Bolton.

Very good first half performance, tho as others have said against quite a weak Brum side/defence. Macca, Byram and Austin the pick of ours, Mowatt did well too. Saying that, first 20 mins second half they could have got it back to 3-3 !! Lady luck was on our side for once, today.
oh, and Gareth Southgate (Eng U21) was there watching Byram and Lingard.
