Laudrup v Gazza

Both legends at Rangers, both heros of mine.

But the question I ask is which one was better?

Don't know who did better for Rangers but over their careers, Laudrup without question. Not even close.

laudrup

gazza was exceptional in his first season

hit and miss in his 2nd and missed alot through injury

he was awful in the season he eventually got sold

laudrup was sensational in his 1st and 3rd season

injury interupted his 2nd and like gazza, was a complete passanger in his last

To be fair, it's like asking what's the best between a Fillet Steak and a Lobster

Both were immensely talented.
Gazza could control games with ease, kept the ball well and had a great eye for a pass.
Laudrup was a game-changer - had pace to burn and could get past defenders like they weren't there

I've never seen two better players in my lifetime supporting Rangers.

Loved McCoist, Hately, Goram and plenty of the Advocaat era players, but for outright ability and entertainment, noone could match these pair.

Fortunately we don't have to choose between the two , as we were graced with both.

If Gazza could have been tamed off the booze, I think he could have been some player for years after he left, but I think going to Rangers only made it worse.

I couldn't understand Laudrup leaving when he did, especially when he barely ended up playing a game for Chelsea, but we're not going to see guys with that sort of talent again, and if we do somehow manage to unearth them, they'll be gone inside a season

he was at us for 4 years, he wanted to play in england, i can understand that

vialli didnt have a forking clue and openly deployed a rotation system regardless of form, thats why chelsea although having a great team, were very patchy in form

he should have came home after those chelsea cants messed him about but he done well in copehagen then when onto ajax

Laudrup had a lot of injuries with chelsea he was injured when they signed him

How fortunate are we to have both in the same team, awesome
