R.I.P Mr Bill Nicholson

I was just seeing on our 606 page and notice no article been has been created that today is the 9 year anniversary of the late great Mr Spurs Mr Bill Nicholson, one his legendary quotes below.
It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory

R.I.P Mr Bill Nicholson you never ever be forgotten

Without him we wouldn't be the club that we are today, so Mr Nicholson I applaud you because you are and always will be MrTottenham.

Sherrif is touchy because he knows Wenger has settled for the top 4 for the last 5 or 6 years.

I had the pleasure of being at WHL for Bill Nicholson's first game in charge of Spurs, October 1958 V Everton. It was also the first time I had ever seen Spurs play. The score??? We beat Everton 10-4

Stop trying to insult one of the greatest ever British Managers, and one who puts whinging crying wimps like Wenger to shame.

Genius

I remember the 10-4 well, and you telling us you were at the game previously. I did not attend, but if I recall Smithy scored 4 goals, it was a result I think that took us out of the bottom 3. If I recall Spurs flirted with relegation all season 58/59, and finished about 5th from the bottom in Billy Nicholsons first season after he took over from Jimmy Anderson, it was all upwards after that.
