I cant get to games anymore as live too far away and have other commitments. However I am very interested in AVB's comments about the crowd today.
Is it really that bad these days? I'm looking at Chronic's comments which back AVB but are fans happy about the AVB 'poor support' opinion?
I'm wondering if this is a first sign of strain from AVB? Lets be honest the football has been pretty poor this season. On the other hand we are 3 points off the top of the table.
Strange start to the season. I really think next Sunday is a huge game. If we can come from Everton with 3 points it would be a major statement.
AVB reaction to fans

A vicious circle, fans dictated by the powers that be. Can't sing that, can't chant this or face being arrested.
But as said above, fans should support their team regardless. End of. I don't care if you are payed 100k a game to play in, to be in a negative atmosphere with your own "supporters" booing you isn't good for morale.
Show some love fans, man up and take the rough with the smooth. It's football, you're not plastic Manc or Chelsk fans, who think it's a divine right to win every game.
Be like the Palace fans, bounce!

Bizarre comments from the manager.
North London is getting a reputation for being the boo boys but the manager should have expressed his feelings differently

Do you think the poor atmosphere is due to certain songs being banned? I'm not suggesting you should condone racism to create a bit of atmosphere by the way. I've always found WHL a bit lack luster especially when the "Spurs go marching in" song is sung as ultra slow speed...more like a funeral than a song with tempo to get behind your team and give them a lift.

I think we need to draw a line between 'fans' and 'supporters'.
Look at it this way. I am a 'fan' of Homeland. But if it gets sh@t, I'll stop watching with no sense of loyalty. I am a Spurs SUPPORTER. I will not always like what I see, but I will always support the team, win lose or draw.

^^^ Bingo!! We have a winner, exactly. People need to look up the definition of support.

Look up what fan means whilst you are at it too.
