He had a thrilling fight with Mike Perez and lost a UD. Brutal fight and he displayed heart and skill. He is in an induced coma. Very sobering when we praise boxers in punishing fights and call some cowards when they quit.

Feel bad for Perez though. Had his best win tainted by this sad news. Hope he recovers well psychologically from this as he is a real and genuine talent in a talent dry HW division.

His win is not tainted at all. MA's team should have stopped the fight, pretty obvious he was in severe pain and was not going to win.
