Mesut Ozil had the flu

Great news gooners is that Mertesacker/Ozil will be rested for the next 2 weeks because of flu. According to Wenger most of our players were affected by it

Lets be honest Mesut Ozil has been poor for weeks, if it wasn't for Aaron Ramsey bailing us out of games he'd be under the spotlight more.Since Sunderland/Napoli he hasn't really been the same drifted in and out of games too much. Hes also played alot of games, he needs a breather but because of the lack of options in the squad due to injuries hes played so thank god hell be rested for the next 2 weeks.

3 big games a in week 6 points in return is not bad still top of the league as long as we get through the rough Christmas period, we should be fine we tend to perform strongly in the league January onwards, convinced Wenger will go and spend big in Jan in attacking positions
